The sixth TAKTIK tower again with news

We met with our customers and suppliers again at the Žižkov Tower Tower in Prague. News from Nutanix and Palo Alto Networks were introduced, as well as solutions from the SentinelOne, Attivo Networks and Attack IQ portfolios.

The participants were welcomed by the CEO of TAKTIK Petr Belatka and introduced the company and its representatives. The introductory presentation of the Palo Alto Networks solution by Lukáš Březina from Taktik and Jakub Jiříček from Palo Alto Networks came with a different view of the firewall, namely access control not on allowing or blocking ports, but on controlling access to applications. The novelty presented was the fulfillment of compliance with the regulatory regulations of the Cyber Security Act by one Czech customer. By deploying the new Cortex XDR brand from Palo Alto Networks, they have achieved an active security solution, unlike the reactive SIEM type, which needs analysis of the collected data. Cortex XDR actively handles incidents and is largely automated, forwarding pre-prepared and pre-investigated incidents to the administrator for settlement / closure.

Richard Vršník and Zdeněk Kopta presented innovations in the hyperconverged software architecture Nutanix. It is an advanced and native integration with Microsoft Azure and hybrid scenarios with this cloud environment; also the preferred DaaS platform for Citrix, AHV unification and Open Shift for Red Hat

Ondřej Šrámek from the Clico distributor introduced the new generation of endpoint protection against APT (Advanced Persistent Threats) attacks. It works with one software agent for all platforms - Windows, Linux, Mac OS and virtualized environments.

In the last presentation, Lukáš Březina presented new products in the Taktik offer for attack detection and internal network protection from Attivo Networks. The essence of this solution is the installation of fake infrastructure on endpoints, which can contain up to 800 baits per attacker. They then pass on information about the attack, including its address of origin. The second novelty is the Attack IQ software, which identifies "blind spots" in the network and in security products. It then helps the customer repair these locations and security policy settings. This protection is used by almost all big players, including Microsoft.

In the end, everyone had the opportunity to participate in a guided tasting of French cognacs, led by Tereza Franc, 1st Czech Madam Cognac & Champagne.
