Nutanix shows half consumption compared to three-tier infrastructure

Data center consumption has been a big topic before, whether for environmental reasons or from a pragmatic economic point of view. Due to the sudden increase in energy prices, this is now a crucial decision factor for all infrastructure operators and users.

Nutanix's hyperconverged infrastructure offers extremely interesting results in terms of efficiency, and a comparison on a specific customer case shows nearly 50% savings. The performance of both compared solutions is similar, apart from the energy demand (management requirements, expandability, universality, comprehensive approach to security...). With current price per kWh, for example, the difference in the consumption of both variants means more than $10k annually, but the consumed watts needs to be cooled as well! This real case is not even close to filling one rack, how much can be saved by deploying HCI when filling an entire aisle in the data center?!
